Under the auspices of the East African Community, the eight (8) Partner States comprising the Republic of Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Federal Republic of Somalia, Republic of Kenya, Republic of Rwanda, Republic of South Sudan, Republic of Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania are jointly organizing to hold the 11th East African Petroleum Conference and Exhibition from 5th to 7th March, 2025.  The venue of the Conference and Exhibition will be the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

The theme of the Conference is “Unlocking Investment in Future Energy: The Role of Petroleum Resources in the Energy Mix for Sustainable Development in East Africa".

The main objective of the Conference and Exhibition is to:

  1. Promote the Petroleum Potential of the Region;
  2. Showcase the latest developments and existing investment opportunities and Legal and Regulatory frameworks in Upstream, Mid-stream and downstream Petroleum sub-sectors in the region and
  3. Exchange and share information, experience and technological developments in the oil and gas industry from a global mix of experts.   


The East African Petroleum Conference and Exhibition has grown into a must-attend event in the global calendar of oil and gas activities and therefore, we expect worldwide participation of over 1000 delegates comprising;

  • Governments;
  • Oil and Gas companies;
  • Service companies;
  • Academia and Researchers;
  • Private Sector;
  • Civil Society;
  • Members of the fourth estate and a wide range of stakeholders in oil and gas industry.

 
Traditionally, the East African Partner States are jointly tasked to identify sources of funding to finance the conference budget which is slightly more than USD 1.78 million.

It is in that vein that we invite potential sponsors to join the East African Community Partner States in sponsoring EAPCE’24 in March 2025.

Sponsors receive the following prominent recognition according to their Sponsorship Level:

  • Certificate of recognition for all sponsors
  • Name and logo in the Conference Booklet, if the Sponsorship is received by 15th February 2023.
  • Display of sponsor’s name and logo at the specific event (s) sponsored.
  • Logo on screens in the Conference sessions
  • Name and Logo on conference Website.
  • Special Registration Rates: Diamond 6 delegates, Tanzanite 5, Platinum 4 delegates, Gold 3 delegates, Silver 2 delegates and Bronze 1 delegate.
  • A full colour one-page advertisement in the Conference Booklet for Diamond sponsors, half page for Tanzanite sponsors and quarter page for Platinum sponsors.

 

Terms and Conditions

  • Sponsorships of items are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Sponsorship maybe exclusive sponsorship or co-sponsorship. Two companies may share an item on 50% - 50% basis.  If more than two companies wish to co-sponsor an item, they will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Exclusive sponsorship will be given priority over co-sponsorship.  If a company co-sponsors at least 50% of an item, that company will be recognized as a sponsor, but not as an “exclusive” sponsor, even if that company is the only sponsor of the said item.
  • “In-kind” sponsorship, i.e., an item provided by sponsor without monetary payment to the conference will be considered but a sample of the item shall be first submitted to the National Organizing Committee for approval.
